Large Rotterode #2 Thundereggs with Amethyst

An interesting specimen - ugly in some ways but the inclusion of the purple amethyst in the rich colour scheme of this location is an absolute winner! Also, maybe I am getting a bit too good at seeing images in these rocks, but i can clearly see a rather quirky animal face here - maybe a baby dinosaur! Looking left, with a large amethyst eye, an ear-pit and a down-turned mouth (crack). Very cute!
