Hölle (Nr. Gehlberg) Thundereggs

A very close relative of the Felsenschlag stones, nevertheless one can see a few distinct differences even in the few specimens here. Most notable is the much more diffuse periphery to the nodule. You can see that these specimens seem to dissolve into the surrounding rock in a constellation of small bubbles of matrix. Also, not to be confused with the other location called Hölle near Luisenthal. Hölle means 'Hell' - and why the germans have not one but two thundereggs from Hell I am not totally sure!
