Orphei Thundereggs
This is one of the 'controversials', in that there are differing opinions on whether it is a thunderegg or not. Consensus seems to be leaning towards not, but I will keep it on the gallery to 'teach the controversy' and also because it is exceptionally beautiful. Characterized by their very striking green matrix and orange mineralisation, this is a very rarely seen location. Usually of a small size, these are one of the most vivid of all the green specimens I have seen.
