Skull Springs Thunderegg

From Skull Springs in Eastern Oregon near the town of Harper.

The skull springs thundereggs have a wonderfully meaty texture to their matrix, shot through with torn fissures of agate and opal like some kind of cyst. The agate in this thunderegg is made up of swirling blue and red fortification lines in a wonderfully wavy pattern and with water leveling lines in blue and red agate and white common opal.
