Mill Creek Drainage - Fallen Tree

Moving east into the Ochoco Mountains (Thunderegg Central?) we come to Mill Creek Drainage - and perhaps the most famous resident here is the Fallen Tree Mine. These eggs have a haunting and touching quality for me that might surprise people who judge eggs on how 'dramatic' they are. The Fallen Tree eggs seem soft - organic. Alive. I might even use the word 'spiritual'. The first of these below is my all-time favorite egg. I can sit and stare at it for hours.
