Wendishain Pitchstone Specimens

These are interesting. Found in the Wendishain area, they are nevertheless very different and distinctive, being extremely dark in colour - a dense blend of red and green that needs bright light to see in detail. You can presume some bright lighting in the images below! They are often incomplete and fragmented. They are also probably not thundereggs as such and closer to transitional nodules - midway between a thunderegg and a seam agate.
