Very Unusual Uncut Slip Formation Thunderegg from Querbitzsch

6.5cm

A slip formation is where the egg has been broken in the distant past and the parts have moved, before being fused together again. In this case, that is very clearly visible in that the crack cut the stone into very neat halves. This is an uncut specimen - a part of me is curious to cut it and see what is going on inside, and another part of me just wants to keep this whole.
